On the Move: Carpe Diem Holistic Travel plans

This is a quote from a famous Italian author, and it translates to:
“But such is life: if you meet a human being in amongst the crowd, follow them… follow them”
And this is indeed what we love doing: connecting and being inspired (as well as keeping in touch with) the human beings who really align with us: the ones who care about a holistic lifestyle and the environment, and who have probably met us personally and know what we are all about…
Hence we invite you to “follow us” as we move on towards the next adventures and yet unwritten chapters of our personal and professional lives.
The Carpe Diem Holistic team is migrating again (such is their nature)!
After two years of pouring our skills and knowledge into Freedive Nusa (contributing to making it become one of the busiest and most organized freediving schools in Indonesia), we now choose to go back to a more nomadic lifestyle while organizing and facilitating our own niche courses, intimate retreats and specialized workshops around the world.
Follow our travels, tell us where you are or where you would like us to be… nowhere is too far away because “when there is a will, there is a way”!
We plan to host marine conservation events, freediving courses and coaching, underwater photography sessions and workshops (about how to be a better underwater photographer or model), holistic retreats, yoga and movement sessions, and aquatic bodywork… all this while linking with the local culture and environment, so to offer sustainable as well as unforgettable trips and experiences!
From tropical beaches to thermal baths in Japan and Italy, the Carpe Diem Holistic team has got many ideas and many experiences to offer!
We are now seeking expressions of interest before confirming the exact dates and costs!
P.s. please note that there is the possibility to do at least part of a Molchanov freediving course in all the following locations if interested!
Here’s the rough schedule of what we are planning for the months ahead:
20-25th of October 2024:
Phuket and Phi Phi Islands nature tours and photo shooting
Explore some of Thailand’s best underwater sites while getting personal tips about underwater modelling and fun diving techniques from the Carpe Diem Holistic team!
20-25th of November 2024:
Okinawa cultural and underwater adventures
Plunge into the clear waters of the South of Japan and experience the country’s rich culture and underwater landscapes while getting photos and tips from the Carpe Diem Holistic team! Onsen experiences with aquatic bodywork are included!
January and February 2025:
Italian thermal and cultural immersion
In the European winter months we will offer some technical workshops, photo shooting, warm thermal water DYN sessions and aquatic bodywork in the North and Centre of Italy…
7-9th of January, near Lake Garda and Venice:
Technical depth sessions in the Y40 (one of the deepest pools in Europe) + warm DYN sessions in local hot baths + healing dance sessions in warm thermal water + the chance to visit Venice and other nearby iconic locations and get professional photos while you enjoy an authentic gastronomic and cultural tour!
20-25th of January, in Umbria and Tuscany:
Aquatic bodywork sessions and apnea workshops in the iconic thermal hot baths between Umbria and Tuscany (think about Italian style accommodation in the typical Italian countryside, eno-gastronomic tours, and more!).
March 2025:
Cayman Islands holistic retreat
Think about snorkeling, freediving and underwater photography in crystal clear warm waters where you will be exploring pristine lagoons, coral gardens, shipwrecks and more!
The perfect tropical palm-tree lined paradise awaits, with an abundance of wildlife both on land (like the iconic iguanas) and in the water (Caribbean sharks, stingrays etc)!
Yoga, mindfulness and aquatic bodywork classes are included to make sure you get a comprehensive recharge while on holiday!
April - May - June 2025:
Baja California wildlife safaris
The tours we will offer in this part of Mexico include a freediving introduction (or revision) day followed by several days of amazing wildlife safaris in the Sea of Cortez (high chance to see schools of mobula rays as well as orcas, whales and dolphins!) in collaboration with a local captain and a resident marine biologist and chef. You will also get the chance to participate in marine biology talks, photography workshops, yoga sessions, Mexican cooking classes and more!
July-August 2025:
Roatan Caribbean retreat
Enjoy some coaching and fun diving in the pristine Honduran waters where the Caribbean Freediving World Cup is held! Come and get some stunning photos taken amongst the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef (the second largest in the world!) while also exploring this piece of paradise on land and enjoying some yoga classes, meals and relaxation in a beautiful beach-front hotel!
