Cayman Islands: A Tropical Underwater Sanctuary

8 - 12 May 2025

The Cayman Islands, known for clear waters and abundant marine life, are an ideal destination for freedivers and wellness enthusiasts. The islands are home to incredible dive sites, including the famous Stingray City, where you can respectfully interact with southern stingrays in their natural habitat (and get some stunning photos!). The surrounding waters are teeming with vibrant fish, sharks, and turtles.

Best Time to Visit: For optimal conditions, we planned our retreat during early May when the weather is warm, the waters are calm, and visibility is at its best.

Baja California Sur: Mobulas Migration & More Wonders

24 - 20 May  & 1 - 7 June 2025

Baja California Sur (Mexico) is a top destination for snorkelers and freedivers, offering some of the richest marine life in the world. Whether you’re diving with playful dolphins, spotting majestic whales and orcas, or witnessing the incredible mobula ray migrations, Baja offers something for every underwater enthusiast.

Best Time to Visit: Baja is a fantastic destination year-round, but for the ultimate mobula dive experience we planned our trip between May and June, when the rays gather in massive schools and the temperature is pleasant both in the ocean and on land.

Roatan, Honduras: Dive into a Caribbean Gem

24 - 30 July 2025

Known for its pristine waters, vibrant coral reefs, and thriving marine life, Roatan offers a mix of adventure and tranquility. From schools of fish to graceful sea turtles, there’s always something magical beneath the surface. 

Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit Roatan is from April to August, when the weather is at its most pleasant and the visibility is at its peak. During these months, you can explore the island’s crystal-clear waters, which are home to colorful coral gardens and abundant sea creatures.

Patagonia: a Photographer’s Dream

September - October 2025 (exact dates to be announced soon!)

While Patagonia is renowned for its rugged landscapes and abundant wildlife, the region also offers some incredible opportunities for wildlife watching and exploration. We will be based in a UNESCO World Heritage Site where can admire the typical regional habitats and photograph iconic wildlife from beaches, cliffs and boats, capturing breathtaking moments against Patagonia's stunning natural backdrop. We will get special access to local knowledge, sites and permits thanks to our local expedition leader Gaston!

Although the waters here are cold, adventurous guests who would like to dive or engage in water activities can reach out to us directly so we can help arrange these activities.

Best Time to Visit: The best months to visit Patagonia for photography are September and October. These months offer more temperate weather, providing the ideal conditions for exploring the region’s spectacular landscapes and capturing active marine and land wildlife in their natural habitats.

Timor-Leste: an Untouched Freediving Heaven

Timor-Leste, one of Southeast Asia’s hidden gems, offers pristine dive sites far from the crowds. Known for its healthy coral reefs, rare marine species, and vibrant underwater landscapes, Timor-Leste is a dream destination for those seeking a more remote, unspoiled diving experience.

Best Time to Visit: For the best underwater experiences, plan your trip to Timor-Leste in November, when the seas are calm, and visibility is superb. This is also the time when marine life is especially abundant, offering unforgettable encounters with both big and small sea creatures.

Indonesia: A Freediver’s Dream

With its vast archipelago and diverse marine ecosystems, Indonesia is a top destination for freedivers seeking variety. From Bali’s serene dive sites to the world-renowned underwater wonders of Komodo National Park, Indonesia offers an unmatched range of dive experiences.

Best Time to Visit: Indonesia is generally best from April to November, during the dry season when seas are calm and visibility is optimal. During these months, you can enjoy vibrant coral reefs, stunning underwater topography, and the chance to encounter unique marine species like the elusive mola mola or the majestic manta ray. We have lived in Indonesia for several years, so we have an extensive net of local partners we rely on for our logistics - and our favourite sites of course!
