Our retreats are designed to be both relaxing and enriching, with a balanced mix of activities to nourish both body and mind. Here’s a general idea of what to expect:
Arrival Day: Retreats usually begin in the afternoon with check-in followed by a welcome circle, where we introduce ourselves, get to know each other, and review the schedule for the upcoming days.
Daily Activities: Over the next few days, we engage in a combination of land and water activities tailored to the focus of the retreat. This includes daily workshops and movement classes such as yoga, freediving sessions, or photography outings, depending on the theme.
Meals: We enjoy fresh, nutritious meals together, focusing on local, seasonal ingredients to fuel our adventures. Meals are often a shared experience, fostering a sense of community and connection.
Closing Day: On the final morning, we gather for a closing circle where we reflect on the experiences of the retreat, share insights, and say our goodbyes before check-out.
The schedule is designed to give you plenty of time to enjoy the activities, relax, and connect with others, while also leaving room for downtime to soak in the surroundings, or simply rest and digest!

Our retreats are suitable for all levels - whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced participant in freediving, yoga, or photography. We cater to everyone and provide guidance tailored to your individual experience and comfort level (as we will ask in the sign-up questionnaire). We do however recommend a decent fitness level and an at least basic swimming ability and previous experience in deep water in order to ensure you get the most out of your experience. Contact us if you are unsure about anything and we will happily advise!

We carefully select each retreat location based on different criteria, depending on the region and what the destination has to offer. Whether it’s the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean or the stunning landscapes of Patagonia, each location is chosen to provide the best conditions for the experience we're offering.
Some retreats may focus on specific aspects such as ideal conditions for freediving, the presence of migratory wildlife species at a particular time of year, or the unique beauty of the surroundings. For example, one retreat might be designed for wildlife enthusiasts hoping to spot seasonal marine species, while another could emphasize luxury or adventure, based on the type of accommodation and destination.
If you’re drawn to a particular focus - be it photography, freediving, or wildlife watching - explore the trip details and dates that catch your interest. Not sure which retreat suits you best? Don’t hesitate to reach out: we’d be happy to help you find the perfect destination for your interests and needs!

As most of our retreats focus on in-water activities, you'll need to bring a well-fitting mask and snorkel. We also recommend bringing your own comfortable fins to ensure a smooth experience in the water. Wetsuits are highly recommended as well to keep you warm, protect you from the sun, and reduce the risk of stings during your time at sea. Weight belts are a must if you wish to line dive or easily descend few metres below the surface.
The goal is for you to arrive at your destination and immediately enjoy the water without having to worry about ill-fitting rental equipment.
If you’re unable to bring your own gear or have any questions about what to bring, please don’t hesitate to contact us: we’ll be happy to assist you.

Yes, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself in case of unforeseen events. While we take every precaution to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, travel insurance can provide peace of mind in situations such as illness, injury, trip cancellations, or delays. It can also cover costs related to lost baggage, medical emergencies, or unexpected changes to your travel plans. By having travel insurance, you’ll be better prepared for any unexpected circumstances that may arise during your journey, allowing you to focus fully on your retreat experience.

Absolutely! Sustainability is a core value of our retreats, and we take great pride in our eco-friendly practices. We implement zero-waste policies, prioritize conservation efforts, and offer locally sourced meals to support the surrounding communities. We also collaborate with local partners and NGOs, ensuring that our retreats positively impact the local area. Additionally, we offer educational workshops focused on environmental conservation to help raise awareness and inspire responsible travel. Our goal is to give back to the community while providing you with a meaningful and eco-conscious experience.

To ensure you're fully prepared for your retreat, we recommend bringing the following items:
Personal Snorkeling/Freediving Gear: Your own mask, snorkel, and fins plus wetsuit for snorkeling or freediving. A weight belt is often a must if you want to dive below the surface!
Comfortable Clothing: Light, breathable clothes for warm weather and some layers for cooler evenings or boat rides.
Wind Jacket: A light jacket for any breezy days on the boat or by the shore.
Towel: For drying off after your time in the water or on the boat.
Hat: To protect your face from the sun during outdoor activities.
Reef-Safe Sunscreen: Please use reef-safe sunscreen or, even better, zinc sunscreen to protect both your skin and the environment.
Camera Equipment: If you’re joining a photography-focused retreat, don’t forget your camera gear to capture the stunning scenery.
Comfortable Shoes: For walking and exploring the surroundings.
Journal or Notepad: If you enjoy jotting down your thoughts, reflections, or notes from workshops, a journal or something to write on might be useful. We will suggest some ideas and techniques for personal journaling.
